Terra Contracting, Inc. is a growing utility and infrastructure contractor based in Las Vegas. We construct and maintain the underground systems that keep communities moving, including natural gas pipelines, power infrastructure, fiber optic installation, telecom infrastructure, asphalt paving, concrete, hydro excavation, directional drilling, and underground utility repair.
We are looking for a business development professional who knows how to open doors, build trust, and turn relationships into real opportunities.
This is not a maintenance account role. This is a field-facing, relationship-driven sales and business development position for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting decision-makers, identifying opportunities early, and helping Terra win the right work.

Compensation & Upside
Base Salary
$70,000-$100,000 DOE

1% on awarded work

What You'll Be Doing
You will help Terra grow by developing new relationships, strengthening existing ones, and identifying project opportunities throughout the utility, telecom, fiber, broadband, municipal, development, and infrastructure markets.
· Build and maintain relationships with utility owners, telecom providers, developers, municipalities, engineering firms, general contractors, and key decision-makers.
· Identify, pursue, and help secure new project opportunities.
· Represent Terra at industry events, networking functions, client meetings, and community/business events.
· Maintain a strong, active sales pipeline.
· Work with leadership, estimating, project management, and field operations to align opportunities with execution capabilities.
· Support proposal development, pricing strategy, presentations, and contract negotiations.
· Monitor market activity, competitor movement, upcoming projects, and industry trends.
· Professionally represent Terra Contracting while strengthening the company's reputation in Southern Nevada.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who understands relationship-based selling in Las Vegas.
You may come from construction, utilities, telecom, engineering, development, commercial real estate, equipment, public works, traffic control, or another B2B industry where relationships matter and trust drives opportunity.
The right person is confident, professional, self-motivated, and comfortable building relationships with owners, executives, project managers, developers, engineers, utility representatives, and field leaders.
Local Southern Nevada relationships are a major plus.
