Seniors Helping Seniors® Orlando West connects active, mature adults with seniors who need help to remain living independently. We are currently seeking the best In-Home Non-Medical Caregivers (Companion/HHA/CNA) in the Orlando West area.

The Companion/HHA/CNA is a valued member of the home care team who works under the supervision of a care manager. You will provide personal care services to meet client needs, observe and report changes, and document care provided. Assignments are made to ensure quality, continuity, and safety of client care.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Personal Care:
Bathing and grooming, including oral care
Assisting with dressing and undressing
Assisting with toileting activities
Feeding clients who are unable to feed themselves
Medication reminders (assisting in self-administration)
Taking and recording vital signs, height, and weight as needed
Supporting mobility and range-of-motion exercises
Observing and reporting changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions
Daily Living Support:
Light housekeeping and meal preparation
Changing bed linens and maintaining a clean environment
Transporting clients to appointments, shopping, and outside activities
Safety & Compliance:
Following infection control and universal precautions
Promoting a safe environment and adhering to policies and standards
Ensuring client rights are respected, including privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
Responding appropriately in emergency situations
Using equipment safely and properly
Other Duties:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a home health aide program from a community college or vocational school
Compliance with state/province registry regulations
Minimum of one (1) year documented caregiving experience
Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
Self-directed with the ability to work independently
Effective oral and written communication skills in English
Team player
All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
