Museum Associate- Weekday/Part Time- MUST LIVE IN DALLAS PROPER
**THIS IS NOT A SUMMER POSITION. We will need this person to commit employment past August.
Looking for someone to work during the week.
Flexible Schedule. Looking for someone that can do most afternoons and occasional mornings if needed. 3-4 times a week for a couple hours in the afternoon.
An ideal candidate has a background in education, child development or is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Experience managing employees
-Experience with Children is preferred, even if studying early education, nursing, etc.
-Excellent Communication Skills with staff and customers
-Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone
-Closes the museum (occasional openings)
-Greets customers and registers them to play
-Keeps all areas of the museum tidy and clean
-Keeps a balanced register drawer
-Implements any and all procedures during a potential emergency
-Reports to onsite manager or Owner
-Train new employees when hired
-in charge of prepping all items for weekend birthday parties and for weekends staff
-other misc. tasks given by management
