Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice on vehicle systems and repair procedures
- Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts displays to ensure product availability and easy access
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems while handling cash, credit, and electronic payments with professionalism
- Collaborate with the service team to support automotive repair and maintenance activities through effective parts ordering and fulfillment
- Maintain detailed records of inventory levels, order history, and customer interactions using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with clear communication skills and positive attitude
- Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers, new products, or services to enhance sales performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or dealership environments within the automotive industry is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive diagnostics
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, vehicle maintenance, and parts management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order fulfillment processes
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, inventory management, and reporting purposes
- Exceptional communication skills paired with phone etiquette to engage customers professionally
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in cashiering and stock management tasks
- Valid driver’s license or dealership experience is beneficial but not mandatory
