LINE COOK JOB DESCRIPTION
LINE COOKS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARING ALL FOOD FOR CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES, FOLLOWING ALL RECIPES AND PROCEDURES, AND MAINTAINING A CLEAN AND SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT.
MUST BE ABLE TO STAND ON YOUR FEET FOR UPTO 9 HOUR INCREMENTS
ABILITY TO BEND AT THE WASTE, STOOP & SQUAT
ABILITY TO LIFT 35 POUNDS FREQUENTLY AND 50 POUNDS OCCASIONALLY
MUST BE ABLE TO HEAR CLEARLY AND HAVE 20/20 VISION WITH CORRECTION
ABLE TO SPEAK, UNDERSTAND AND READ STANDARD ENGLISH
ABLE TO WORK IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT AND MULTITASK
ABILITY TO TAKE DIRECTION, WRITTEN & VERBALLY
ABLE TO HANDLE, LABEL, STORE, & ROTATE FOOD PROPERLY, FOLLOW THE HEALTH CODE
MUST MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT AT ALL TIMES
MUST DO DAILY AND WEEKLY SIDEWORK TASKS
MUST HAVE A FOOD HANDLER CERTIFICATE AND MUST FOLLOW ALL FOOD HANDLING, SANITIZING & SAFETY PROCEDURES AT ALL TIMES
ABILITY TO USE A KNIFE AND SLICER SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY
ABILITY TO USE FOOD TURNERS, GRILL SCRAPERS, GRILL CLEANING BLOCKS, MEAT WEIGHTS, FRYER BASKETS, SPATULAS, FOOD SCOOPERS, TONGUES, FLOOR SQUEEGEE, BROOM, MOP, WATER HOSE, CAN OPENER, FOOD PROCESSOR, MICROWAVE.
ABILITY TO OPERATE A TRIPLE SINK DISH SYSTEM AND ASSIST WITH DISHWASHING DUTIES AS NECCESARY OR INTRUCTED BY MANAGEMENT
ANY OTHER DUTY DEEMED NECCESARY BY MANAGEMENT
MUST ALWAYS CHECK OUT WITH A MANAGER BEFORE ENDING YOUR SHIFT

Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
