CDL-A Recent Graduate Driver – OTR Training Program
ONE HOLDING is hiring CDL-A Recent Graduates who have a valid CDL-A but little or no over-the-road experience.
Training Program Overview
- 8-week structured OTR training program
- Program value: $4,000
- $500 weekly training stipend, earned upon completion of each training phase
- Training stipend is a fixed support amount and not mileage- or hour-based compensation
- Safety-focused, supervised training with experienced team driver
- Dry van, no-touch freight during training
Post-Training Pay
- $0.55 per mile starting pay increased each month until 95 cents within a year
- Pay increases every month based on performance
- Average earnings: ~$2,000 per week ( at 55 cents per mile) up to $3,325
- No mountains
Training Includes
- Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI)
- ELD & logbook training
- Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
- Fueling procedures
- Paperwork, BOLs, trip sheets
- Yard backing (straight, offset, alley dock)
- Trip planning and customer check-in procedures
- Safety rules and compliance standards
- Knowledge of Expereinced Driver
Graduation & Advancement:
- Must pass final road test, PTI, and compliance review
- Upon graduation, driver becomes eligible for TEAM OTR placement
- Pay rate and placement determined at time of assignment
Requirements:
- CDL-A required ( Please obtain CDL A before applying )
- No OTR experience required
- Clean driving record
- Must pass drug test and road test
- Commitment to complete the full training program
Pay Type
- 1099 position
- Weekly direct deposit
Post-training driver Bonuses: ( After finishing and graduating 8 weeks program)
- No Violation Level 1 Inspection Bonus: $500
- Referral Bonus: up to $250 per driver
- Loyalty Bonus: $5,000 ( 104 weeks)
