We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager/Treatment Plan Coordinator to lead our Dentalcare practice with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to ensure efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Coordinate treatment plans by collaborating with healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation, timely updates, and patient understanding of their care pathways
- Manage health records and electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft to maintain accuracy and confidentiality
- Supervise healthcare staff including receptionists, medical administrative support personnel, nurses, and other team members to foster a positive work environment and high performance
- Handle fiscal management responsibilities such as budgeting, dental billing, financial management experience, and ensuring adherence to practice management policies
- Ensure compliance with health regulation policies by monitoring clinic procedures, managing audits, and implementing necessary updates to practice protocols
- Utilize patient management software and EMR/EHR systems for efficient patient scheduling, documentation, billing processes, and utilization management
Skills
- Proven experience in medical office management with a strong background in healthcare practice management and clinic operations
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing procedures, and health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar platforms for managing electronic health records effectively
- Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams within healthcare settings; excellent managerial communication skills are essential
- Ability to handle fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management experience, and managing healthcare staff payrolls
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff alike
- Familiarity with dental office experience or veterinary experience is a plus; critical care or hospital experience also advantageous
- Knowledge of managed care processes and utilization management practices within healthcare environments
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, correspondence and administrative tasks
