Kändi is seeking energetic, friendly, and reliable Team Members to join our growing candy store team. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy, interacting with customers, and taking pride in an organized, visually appealing space. Team Members play a key role in creating an exceptional in-store experience while keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by warmly greeting customers, answering questions, and helping them build candy mixes
- Create a fun, welcoming, and high-energy environment that reflects the Kändi brand
- Operate the POS system accurately, including cash handling and card transactions
- Refill candy bins frequently, rotate product, and ensure all displays look full, clean, and organized
- Lift, carry, and move boxes of candy and supplies regularly (must be comfortable lifting 30–40 lbs)
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling candy and packaging products
- Upsell products and promotions in a natural, friendly way to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, bins, scoops, and storage areas throughout the shift
- Assist with inventory organization, back-stock management, and restocking deliveries
- Work closely with team members to keep the store running efficiently during busy periods
Requirements & Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality with strong people skills
- Excellent customer service mindset—being positive and engaging is a must
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as refilling bins, organizing inventory, and standing for long periods
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
- Ability to lift and move heavy items throughout the shift
- Previous experience in food service, retail, grocery, or customer-facing roles is a plus but not required
