Job Description
Baseline 4x4 Recyclers is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to photograph and inspect used automotive parts for online sale.
This is not a traditional or creative photography position. It is a high-volume, repetitive production role where consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail are more important than artistic photography experience.
The person in this position will stage, inspect, and photograph automotive parts using tablets or smartphones equipped with imaging software connected directly to our inventory system. Each part must be presented clearly and consistently so customers can accurately understand what they are purchasing.
A major part of this role is recognizing damage, wear, missing pieces, repairs, or other unusual conditions that a customer needs to see before purchasing. The right person must also be able to recognize when a part is too damaged or worn to sell and should be set aside for further review or disposal.
The position will likely begin with smaller automotive components and may gradually transition into photographing larger and more complex parts as experience and product knowledge increase.
Responsibilities
- Stage and photograph used automotive parts for online listings
- Use tablets or smartphones with inventory imaging software to capture and upload photos
- Ensure photos are attached to the correct part and inventory record
- Follow established photo angles, backgrounds, lighting, and presentation standards
- Maintain a steady, high-volume workflow throughout the day
- Inspect parts for damage, wear, cracks, repairs, corrosion, missing pieces, and other concerns
- Make sure important defects and identifying details are clearly photographed
- Recognize parts that may not meet our standards for resale
- Set questionable or damaged inventory aside for additional review
- Keep parts organized and matched with the correct inventory records
- Clean or prepare parts as needed before photography
- Maintain an organized and clean photography area
- Handle smaller automotive parts initially, with the opportunity to advance into larger components
- Communicate questions or concerns to inventory and production team members

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout most of the workday
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and work around shelving or worktables
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move smaller automotive parts
- Ability to occasionally lift heavier components with assistance or proper equipment
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with changing temperatures

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
