Position Description
We're looking for a thoughtful, people-focused Technical Account Manager who thrives on building strong client relationships while delivering hands-on technical expertise. In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor for a subset of IT Group NW clients by checking in regularly, providing technical solutions, and managing projects from consultation through deployment. You’ll occasionally recommend and implement business-grade technology, including networking, servers, and workstations, while working closely with a skilled team that values collaboration, integrity, and care in every interaction. Position Responsibilities
- Manage the business relationship for a subset of IT Group NW clients.
- Regularly check in with clients via phone, email, and/or on-site presence.
- Manage the deployment of equipment such as networking hardware, servers, workstations, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with other technical staff and management.
- Manage technical projects, implementations, and deployments.
- Provide high-level and escalated technical support to IT Group NW staff and clients.

Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting business end-users via a technical support position.
- At least 1 year of account or project management experience.
- You must or immediately plan to live within 30 miles of Tigard, OR.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- A valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.

- Remote Access (E.g., Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, Citrix)
- Virtualization (E.g., Hyper-V, VMWare)
- Windows Server Roles and Features (E.g., DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, Routing and Remote Access, Remote Desktop Gateway, Hyper-V)
- Microsoft NTFS and ACL best practices
- Business-grade printers, scanners, copiers

- MSP experience is not required but is hugely advantageous for this position.
- Also not required but nice to have is any completed coursework, degrees, certifications, or other formal education centered around technology.

Work Location, Travel
- This is a dynamic hybrid role that offers flexibility in your work location.
- We currently aim for all technical staff to be in the office at least on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition to office-based work, you’ll also spend a varying amount of time at client sites. Outside of these expectations, the position allows for work from home.

- Starting salary to be determined based on skills and experience.
