A property managment firm is seeking a motivated, dependable, and team-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our growing team in Andover, Kansas. This is a full-time position offering a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced property management environment. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities throughout the day.
Qualifications:
- Experience in general maintenance, warranty work, plumbing, and/or electrical repairs
- Experience working with contractors and vendors
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- HVAC certification is strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Must provide personal hand tools
- Ability to participate in an every-other-week on-call rotation
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing routine property maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshooting and completing plumbing and electrical repairs
- Preparing apartments for new residents through unit turnovers
- Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property grounds
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinating with contractors and vendors as needed
- Assisting with preventative maintenance projects and property improvements
