Are you an active, high-energy educator who loves working with children of all ages? We are looking for a dynamic Classroom Assistant & Support Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals. With 175 children in our building, this is a fast-paced, high-energy, and deeply rewarding environment where no two days are the same!
What You’ll Do
As a Support Teacher, you are the "right hand" to our Lead Teachers. You will move between classrooms—from our tiny infants to our busy Kindergarteners—ensuring every child has a safe and joyful day.
- Classroom Support: Partner with co-teachers to lead activities, manage transitions, and maintain a high-quality learning environment.
- Safety & Ratio: Take ownership of maintaining proper teacher-to-child ratios at all times.
- Child Wellness: Become an expert on our students' needs, including strict adherence to food allergy protocols and safety standards.
- Active Engagement: Get on the floor and play! Whether it's storytime with Infants, toddlers or playground fun with Pre-K, you are an active part of their growth.
Schedule & Locations
- Hours: We are open from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. You pick the shift you want.
- Primary Location: Primrose School of Leawood | 4820 W 137th St, Leawood, KS 66224.
- Sister Location: Primrose School of Overland Park | 8300 W 137th St, Overland Park, KS 66085. (Let us know if this location is closer to you!)
