Ink Systems is actively seeking a highly experienced Inkroom Operations Manager to support strategic growth and customer operations within the packaging and manufacturing market in Rochester, NY.
This opportunity is designed for an individual who can successfully balance operational performance, pressroom support, inventory control, employee leadership, and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement initiatives within a highly responsive and growth-oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day inkroom operations within high-volume packaging and manufacturing environments
- Support pressroom production through responsive ink management, color support, and operational troubleshooting
- Lead and develop inkroom personnel while maintaining a strong team-oriented work environment
- Maintain inventory accuracy, material control, and operational organization
- Work closely with customer production teams to support quality, consistency, and production efficiency
- Help drive process improvements that reduce waste, improve responsiveness, and support overall operational performance
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service, operational reliability, and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in inkroom operations within packaging, printing, or manufacturing environments
- Experience leading teams in fast-paced production and pressroom environments
- Understanding of pressroom workflows, inventory management, and customer expectations
- Hands-on leadership style with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain responsive and effective in high-demand production operations
