Construction Job Foreman
Established High-End Residential Construction Firm is seeking an Entry Level Construction Foreman
Job Description
The Job Foreman will report directly to the Vice President and the Senior Field Superintendent. The foreman’s primary responsibility will be to oversee, manage and direct all aspects of construction projects from initial planning to project competition.
The foreman will play a key role in each construction project by overseeing all on site construction operations including coordinating and managing subcontractors and general laborers from project start to finish. The Superintendent will be responsible for communicating and ensuring job site standards, maintaining general laborer’s time cards and overall site maintenance and supervision.
This position requires a general understanding of common construction practices, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a keen attention to detail, an industrious work ethic, critical thinking skills, notable leadership skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects at once while maintaining the highest level of detail and organization.
Skills and Qualifications
· High level of Maturity and Professionalism
· Proficiency using Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook
· Exceptional organizational skills
· Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who works well in a team environment
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to speak Spanish is preferred
· Ability to understand and interpret architectural plans, preferred but not required
