This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for experienced Service Advisors who enjoy building relationships, helping customers, and maximizing every opportunity.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience is required.
- Dealership experience is required.
- Experience with CDK Drive is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong sales ability with a proven track record of success.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document repair needs.
- Create repair orders using dealership software.
- Present maintenance and repair recommendations with confidence and integrity.
- Build trust while maximizing sales opportunities.
- Work closely with technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Deliver an exceptional experience that earns repeat business, referrals, and outstanding CSI.
- Follow up with customers after their visit to ensure complete satisfaction.
Performance Expectations
At Dyer Chevrolet, performance matters. Every Service Advisor is expected to consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics.
These include:
- Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) above the regional average.
- Effective Labor Rate (ELR) goals.
- Hours Per Repair Order (HPRO) goals.
- Maintenance and repair sales performance.
- Customer retention and follow-up completion.
- Professional communication and accountability.

Interview Requirements
If selected for an interview, applicants should be prepared to discuss their recent performance and are encouraged to bring:
- Sales performance reports from the last 90 days.
- CSI reports from the last 90 days.
- Any additional performance reports that demonstrate your success as a Service Advisor.
