Resolve West Allis is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Recreational Therapist (RT) to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you'll develop and facilitate therapeutic recreation programs that promote emotional well-being, social engagement, coping skills, and overall recovery for individuals receiving mental health treatment.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients' recreational, social, and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized and group therapeutic recreation programs.
- Facilitate activities that support recovery, stress management, communication, and socialization.
- Document patient participation, progress, and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support individualized care plans.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and engaging environment for all patients.
- Assist with planning special events, wellness initiatives, and recreational programming.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or a related field.
- Current Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) credential preferred or eligible to obtain.
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, or inpatient healthcare settings is preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead therapeutic groups and engage individuals with diverse mental health needs.
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
