Help Shape the Next Generation of Therapists
Your legacy isn't just the clients you help. It's the therapists you inspire.
(Please apply only if you have been independently licensed for at least two years and meet, or are prepared to meet, California's requirements to provide clinical supervision.)
What if your next career move wasn't about seeing more clients...
...but about multiplying your impact?
At Together Family Counseling, we believe great therapists don't just happen - they're developed through thoughtful mentorship, meaningful supervision, and a team that genuinely cares about helping clinicians grow.
We're looking for an experienced clinician who enjoys teaching as much as treating, someone who finds fulfillment in helping associates gain confidence, sharpen their clinical skills, and become exceptional therapists.
If you've ever found yourself staying after supervision because you genuinely enjoy discussing cases, celebrating breakthroughs, or helping a new clinician find their own voice, we'd love to meet you.
What Makes This Position Different?
This isn't a role where you're handed a full caseload and asked to squeeze supervision into whatever time is left.
Instead, we'll work with you to create the balance that's right for you.
Whether you prefer a larger clinical caseload with fewer supervisees, or you'd rather focus more heavily on supervision and mentorship, we're flexible. We'll build a role that leverages your strengths while supporting both your professional goals and the needs of our growing practice.
You'll become an important part of our Associate Development Program, helping new clinicians transition from graduate training into confident, competent, and compassionate therapists.
What You'll Do
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision for associate therapists
- Mentor developing clinicians through challenging clinical situations
- Encourage sound clinical judgment, ethical practice, and professional confidence
- Review documentation and provide constructive, supportive feedback
- Help associates develop strong treatment planning and case conceptualization skills
- Collaborate with our leadership team to continually strengthen our training program
- Maintain a clinical caseload that complements your supervision responsibilities
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Is independently licensed in California as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist
- Has been licensed for at least two years
- Meets (or will meet) California's supervision training requirements
- Enjoys mentoring and helping others succeed
- Believes feedback should be both honest and encouraging
- Has strong clinical judgment and a solid understanding of evidence-based treatment
- Understands documentation requirements in an insurance-based private practice
- Values collaboration over hierarchy
- Communicates with empathy, professionalism, and respect
