We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. Law Firm (Clio) and Title Company (Qualia) experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Verify invoice accuracy and approval
- Schedule and issue automatic payments
- Monitor recurring expenses
- Maintain vendor files and W-9 records
- Resolve billing discrepancies
- Monitor incoming payments
- Record deposits and receipts
- Track outstanding balances
- Bank Account Reconciliation
- Prepare monthly reports
- Prepare profit and loss statements
- Prepare balance sheets
- Track Departmental Expenses
- Assist with Budget Management
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper or Accountant in corporate or non-profit settings.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and financial concepts.
- Hands-on experience with law firm management software, Clio.
- Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation accurately.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting standards and tax experience is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret financial data clearly through financial report writing and account analysis.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
