Overview
The Order Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures orders are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick items from inventory based on order sheets or handheld scanners
- Pack orders securely and correctly to prevent damage during transit
- Label packages and prepare them for shipping
- Verify order accuracy (items, quantities, and quality) before packing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or order picking/packing experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and scanning systems
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Shift Details
- Timing: Monday-Friday, 9AM-3PM
- Pay Rate: $20/hr
- Location: Sparks, NV 89437, USA
