Hello!
We are looking for a Warehouse Worker! Averages to 15 to 20 hours a week picking wine for orders, loading delivery vans, and re-stocking wine. This is physically demanding work, you must be comfortable moving 30-40lb cases of wine, repeatedly. We will provide you with a lifting belt. Possibility of training as back-up driver if interested.
NC Living Wage Certified - Start at $23, bump to $24 at 3 months.
Requirements:
-Basic computer skills, attention to detail, self-organizing
-Basic Wine Knowledge is helpful, but not required
-Comfortable lifting 40 pound cases repeatedly
-Operation of an electric Pallet Stacker and Pallet Jack, will train
-Operation of a large pro-master van
-Clean driving record
Hours:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - loosely 1:00pm to 6:00pm (Wednesday's can run as late as 8:30 every once in a while - must be available). These are the general hours for picking orders and getting the van ready for next day delivery - Must have the flexibility to stay later as needed to complete the job.
Outside of regular orders, we frequently receive shipments of wine. These pallets have to be disassembled and put away in the warehouse. This can be done on the same days as orders, or coming in a couple hours on a Monday or Friday is optional. We plan this on a case by case basis in coordination with our other employees.
