Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Right At Home, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate in-home care to seniors and individuals with disabilities. This position is essential in helping our clients lead healthy, fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure client health and safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to promote independence.
- Implement memory care techniques for clients experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and progress.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of caregiving principles and practices.
- Ability to monitor vital signs accurately and respond appropriately to changes in client condition.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and families.
- Familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is beneficial but not required.
