We are a bakery manufacturer that operates 365 days a year, including holidays. The schedule for this position is four ten (10) hour shifts with the potential for overtime and includes weekends. The start time may range from 12 a.m. - 2 a.m.
We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Mixer Operator (1 opening)
Responsibilities include operating mixing equipment and handling ingredients throughout the shift. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. regularly as an essential function of this role.
General Labor Production (2 openings)
Pallet Stacker (1 opening)
Responsibilities include stacking finished product onto pallets to heights of up to seven feet for two to three hours of the working shift. Candidates must be able to safely lift, stack, and reach to the required height as an essential function of this role.

Overall Responsibility
The General Laborer is responsible for the production of all bakery products including but not limited to muffins, croissants and additional freezer bake off products. Products must be produced to meet standards, freshness, and scheduling needs. All products are packed into clean and sanitary containers. Production area is to be kept clean, safe, and sanitary at all times.
Core Job Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Responsible to set up bakery for production and to produce product as scheduled
· Responsible for the accurate measuring, weighing, and mixing of raw ingredients, extruding the batter, and proofing and baking products
· Pulls frozen product from freezer to meet production schedules
· Picks, packs, and labels all bakery products in the appropriate size baskets or trays for transporting
· Delivers finished bakery products to the staging area and distributes for delivery
· Performs other duties as requested
· Ensures all equipment is clean and sanitary
· Completes the Bakery checklist and ensures that all tasks are complete
· Practices “Clean as You Go”
· Reports to work on time in a clean/complete uniform and maintains good personal hygiene
· Performs Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and safety guidelines throughout the production shift
· Strictly adheres to and confers all company policies and procedures as outlined in the policy manual
· All products are produced on time
· All orders are filled with 100% accuracy
· Completes all Bakery products to specifications and standards as outlined in the specifications
· Completely and accurately records data as required
· Practice Food Safety Culture every day at all times
· All other duties as assigned

Work Environment
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in a manufacturing environment. Inside an air-conditioned building with normal temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees. Minor smoke/smell from ovens and dryers. Contact with food allergens like wheat, egg, soy, milk, peanuts, and tree-nuts. Occasionally required to enter walk-in-cooler or freezer for a short period of time with normal temperature between 0 to 40 degrees.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Stooping and bending may be below the knees, lifting and reaching may be above shoulders. On foot on a continuous basis. Grasping, pushing, pulling as needed.
