We’re hiring a CNC Machinist for the Grand Rapids area. If you’re an experienced CNC machine operator who can program machines, follow blueprints, and understand machine programming, this may be a great opportunity for you. Keep reading for more information!
This position is on 1st shift paying $28 - $30 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate lathe and milling machines
- Follow blueprints and product specifications to produce materials
- Cut and shape products according to specific measurements and outlines
- Adjust machines as needed to ensure the highest quality product is continuously made
- Identify preventative maintenance and perform fixes when needed
- Follow safety procedures and protocols
- Hydraulic assembly
Requirements
- CNC experience
- Electrical skills (basic understanding)
- Metal component assembly experience
- Pipe bending skills and hydraulic system knowledge
- Math and measuring skills
- CAD and CAM knowledge
- G & M code understanding
- Lift up to 50lbs regularly
- High school education or GED
Shift & Pay
- 1st Shift
- Monday – Friday: 7am-4:30pm (flexible)
- Temporary role (~12 weeks)
