Pay: $57.15–$60.51/hour
Achieve ABA+ is seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary environment supporting clients through evidence-based, goal-oriented music therapy services.
About the Role
As a contract Music Therapist, you will provide individualized and/or group music therapy sessions designed to support communication, emotional regulation, social skills, and overall client well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide music therapy services to clients in alignment with individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., ABA therapists, BCBAs, caregivers)
- Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based interventions
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation (session notes, progress reports)
- Adapt sessions to meet varying client needs and abilities

Compensation & Benefits

Qualifications
- Board Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy
· Experience working with pediatric or neurodivergent populations preferred· Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently as a contractor
- Must hold auto insurance
- Access to electronic devices with access to internet
- Working knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security standards

Reliable transportation to and from clients location

Active Auto Insurance with Proper Coverage as recommended by an insurance agent for the driving incurred for this position

Clean background check

Must not be excluded from receiving federal payments for providing healthcare services and consent to searches of the Office of Inspector General List of Excluded Individuals and Entities database monthly

Must not be excluded from federal healthcare programs and consent to searches of System for Award Management (SAM)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with individuals (children and/or adults) with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or Autism

Experience working as a Music Therapist preferred
