Duties
- Supervise and support baristas during shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer interactions
- Prepare and serve high-quality non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including processing cash and card payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and beverage stations, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Lead daily opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, inventory checks, and equipment maintenance
- Assist in training new team members on food service techniques, POS operation, and customer service best practices
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience and foster customer loyalty
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service techniques
- Previous food service or café experience preferred; familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage shift operations effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Strong attention to detail in food handling, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper beverage serving procedures
