Duties
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Safely operate heavy machinery such as loaders and forklifts to move materials around the yard
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly area for inventory both inside and outside of our facility
- Maintain accurate inventory records through manual counts
- Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to organize and store materials properly
- Follow all safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards to prevent accidents and injuries
- Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, managing stock levels, and preparing shipments for dispatch
Experience
- Previous warehouse distribution or warehouse experience preferred
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, trucks, or pallet jacks
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and materials handling best practices
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and recording quantities accurately
- Experience in manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and load & unload activities
- Understanding of safety protocols related to OSHA standards and warehouse operations
- Prior supervisory experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus but not required
