Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and assisting with construction site tasks to ensure efficient project progress. Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, dump trucks with precision and safety awareness
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling to support construction activities
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working around construction sites and heavy machinery
- Support various construction tasks such as grading, loading material as needed
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and daily work activities
Experience
- Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders is highly preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic troubleshooting skills for heavy machinery
- Demonstrated experience working on construction sites with familiarity in safety procedures and site protocols
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is advantageous for operating dump trucks or tanker vehicles
- Hands-on experience with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and best practices

Pay: $27.07 - $32.61 per hour
