About BetterBeverages
BetterBeverages is a rapidly growing contract and private label beverage manufacturer specializing in premium organic and functional beverages. While we operate select owned brands, the majority of our business is dedicated to developing and manufacturing beverages for leading grocery retailers, natural food chains, regional retailers, and national consumer packaged goods companies.
Our capabilities include organic kombucha, organic sodas, organic ready-to-drink teas, and other premium functional beverage platforms produced under our customers' brands.
As demand continues to grow, we are launching and scaling a new manufacturing facility in New Berlin, Wisconsin, featuring two bottling lines, one canning line, fermentation operations, pasteurization capabilities, and significant future expansion plans.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager who is ready to build and lead our maintenance and reliability function as we enter this exciting next phase of growth. This is a unique opportunity for a maintenance leader who enjoys building systems, developing teams, improving equipment reliability, and making a lasting impact within a growing manufacturing organization.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of experience in beverage, brewing, fermentation, dairy, liquid food manufacturing, or other sanitary processing environments strongly preferred
- Experience supporting bottling, canning, liquid processing, or pasteurization systems
- Experience with fermentation tanks, CIP systems, sanitary piping, pumps, and process equipment
- Experience developing and managing preventative maintenance programs
- Experience supporting facility utilities such as compressors, refrigeration, boilers, or water systems is a plus
- SQF, GMP, HACCP, or food manufacturing experience
- Experience supporting startup facilities, plant expansions, or commissioning new production lines
- Experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment
- Maintenance, reliability, or technical certifications are a plus
Why This Opportunity Is Different
This is more than a traditional maintenance role. In addition to supporting packaging operations, this position will help oversee the infrastructure and equipment that powers fermentation and beverage processing.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving both mechanical and process-related challenges in a sanitary food and beverage manufacturing environment and is excited by the opportunity to build systems, establish best practices, and help shape the future of a growing facility.
This is a rare opportunity to build the maintenance foundation for a growing manufacturer positioned at the intersection of functional beverages, fermentation, and private label innovation.
