Job Summary
Fresh Delaware LLC is seeking a MIPs Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for cannabis extraction, winterization, distillation, and all aspects of manufactured infused products (MIPs).
Essential Functions
· Policy & Safety Compliance: Maintain full knowledge of company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
· Equipment Operation: Operate extraction equipment in compliance with GMP standards, state, and local laws.
· Safety Checks: Routinely inspect MIPs Division and equipment.
· Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to meet production schedules.
· Communication: Maintain clear verbal and written communication with co-workers and management.
· Maintenance: Clean and maintain MIPs Division areas and extraction equipment.
· Chemical Handling: Safely work with hazardous chemicals.
· Extraction: Operate ethanol and solventless extraction systems.
· Material Prep: Properly store and prepare materials for MIPs.
· Documentation: Maintain logs, checklists, and record data in required software platforms.
· Quality Control: Perform routine QC checks and take corrective action when needed.
· Scheduling: Maintain daily/weekly schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
· Reporting: Document daily activities and generate reports.
· Culture: Contribute to a safe, consumer-focused, and collaborative workplace.
· Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic.
· Background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Medical Science, Food Science, Laboratory Technology, or cannabis extraction is a plus.
· Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
