Responsibilities
As an Armed Security Officer, you will:
- Protect employees, visitors, and client property
- Control access to the facility and verify authorized entry
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas
- Monitor security systems and respond to alarms or incidents
- Complete detailed incident and activity reports
- Respond professionally to emergencies while following established procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at all times
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, applicants must have:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Valid U.S. Driver's License or State Identification Card
- Valid Illinois Armed Guard Card
- Valid Illinois Pistol Permit
- Ability to pass all required background screenings and licensing requirements
