Duties
- Perform high-quality mammograms and other radiologic imaging procedures, including DEXA scans, PET scans, CT, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology techniques.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety through proper positioning, communication, and adherence to radiation safety procedures.
- Operate a variety of medical imaging equipment with precision, including X-ray machines, radiologic imaging systems, and interventional tools.
- Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients and staff during all procedures.
- Collaborate with emergency room teams and urgent care units to provide diagnostic evaluations in high-pressure situations such as Level I and Level II trauma centers.
- Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and detailed procedure records for each patient encounter.
- Uphold aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all invasive or sterile procedures.

Experience
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology with a focus on mammography and medical imaging modalities such as ultrasound (sonography), CT, PET scan, DEXA scan, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine.
- Prior work in urgent care settings or emergency rooms is highly desirable.
- Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers enhances your candidacy.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to interpret diagnostic images accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to operate complex radiology equipment safely while implementing radiation safety procedures.
- Familiarity with interventional radiography techniques and interventional radiology procedures is a plus.
- Excellent patient care skills combined with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine settings.
The schedule is 4 10s Days Mon, Wed, Thurs, and Friday. There will be no call or weekends!
