Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Employment Type: Travel Contract (W-2)
Compensation
- Weekly Gross Pay: $1,110/week

- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (verified by Driver's License address).
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician (Sterile Processing Technician) to join a leading healthcare facility in Canton, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have experience reprocessing and sterilizing surgical instruments while maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Clean, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Ensure all instruments are processed according to hospital policies and industry standards.
- Perform quality checks on instrument trays before sterilization.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization records.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the Operating Room team to ensure instrument availability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Instrument Technician/Sterile Processing experience
- Active HSPA/CRCST or CSPDT Certification (Required)
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrument reprocessing and sterilization procedures
