Home Design Showroom Sales: This position is highly engaged daily with our customers and vendors. Intermediate computer skills as well as the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks are a must. Typical hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30pm. Must be a self-starter and able to work well with others.
Essential Functions:
- Contact through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax, and in-person meetings to meet the quoting and sales needs of our customers.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Communicates with outside sales representatives on customer orders, requirements, problems or concerns and changes.
- Initiates product transfers to other branches or direct to customers.
- Generate, place and confirm purchase orders with suppliers.
- Accurately completes all required paperwork (e.g., coding, costing, pricing on a timely basis.
- Receives payment for merchandise or services sold. Responsible for payments received and adhering to all administrative and accounting related procedures.
- Maintains current price documentation and product literature as it becomes available.
- Keeps product knowledge current to evolving manufacturing supply.
- Participating in the annual physical inventory count
- Submitting warranty issues on various products
- Quoting, scheduling, and collection payments for installed sales
- Review accounting paperwork for accuracy and completeness

Pay starting at $18.00. Negotiable based on experience. The ideal candidate would have prior showroom/inside sales experience.
