Fidevia, a specialty construction management / consulting firm that operates and treats its clients like a family, is seeking a F/T Preconstruction Specialist. Potential for advancement. Duties are likely to include:
· Draft, revise, and assemble contracts and related documents.
· Monitor budget, schedule, and design progress. Ensure land development and related approvals are obtained in a timely manner.
· Prepare meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and schedule project team meetings as necessary.
· Organize project documentation.
· Prepare presentation materials related to construction projects.
· Lead and/or participate in project strategy meetings that relate to contract issues, preconstruction planning, and design.
· Review and assist project teams in ensuring owner receives the project desired within schedule and budget.
· Overall, earn client’s trust through dedicated efforts and care.
Desired Qualifications: Must be trustworthy, dependable, comfortable on the telephone, work well with others and be someone who would thrive in a team / family environment. Detail oriented a must!Excellent written communication skills are required. Must possess strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate good judgment about prioritizing the completion of multiple responsibilities. Familiarity with legal concepts relevant to the construction industry or the interest and ability to learn required. Ability to read and interpret schedules, contract drawings, and specifications is preferred, but not necessary.
