Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to male client in his home. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with disabilities or who require assistance with daily living activities. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in fostering independence and ensuring the well-being of our clients. You will work and stay in client's home 4 days on then 4 days off averaging 15 days per month. On the 4 off days you can pick up open shifts in San Antonio area if available.
Duties
- Meal prep
- Assist male client with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Ensure that all care provided respects resident rights and promotes dignity.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Work collaboratively with family members and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
Must have valid driver's license and pass background check.
