About Us:
Skateworld San Diego is the city’s only indoor roller skating rink and has been a community favorite for nearly 50 years. We provide a fun, welcoming environment for skaters of all ages. Our Skate Counter Team Members play an essential role in ensuring guests have the right skates and a great experience on the rink!
Job Responsibilities:

Greet guests and assist them in selecting the correct skate size.
- Explain skate sizing, ensuring customers get a proper fit.
- Perform visual inspections and "shake tests" on skates before handing them out and when they are returned.
- Check for any loose parts, excessive wear, or damage, and set aside any skates needing repair.
- Keep the skate counter clean, organized, and fully stocked with skates.
- Assist guests with skate adjustments, such as tightening laces or changing wheels if needed.
- Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude while ensuring quick and efficient service.
- Follow all safety protocols and help enforce rink rules when necessary.
Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years old.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with good customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
