HireCare Services is seeking compassionate and motivated Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide high-quality, in-home ABA therapy services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. This role offers flexible scheduling, supportive supervision, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families across Morehead City, NC, and surrounding areas.

As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in a home-based setting under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help children develop essential communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills through structured interventions and play-based learning.
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans designed by your supervising BCBA
Support skill development in communication, behavior reduction, and independence
Collect accurate behavioral data during each therapy session
Communicate progress updates to your clinical team
Complete timely and detailed session documentation
Build positive, professional relationships with clients and families
Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
Active RBT certification preferred OR willingness to obtain certification (BT role training provided)
Strong communication skills, patience, and reliability
Ability to work independently in home-based settings
Passion for working in ABA therapy and supporting children’s development
Part-time and full-time positions available
Flexible scheduling based on client needs and availability
Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday)
Occasional weekend availability as needed
Approximately 15–25+ hours per week depending on caseload
$22–$27 per hour
Based on experience, certification status, and client assignment.
