Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Customer Service & Sales Support Representative to provide exceptional service to our customers while supporting our sales team and internal departments. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding products, orders, billing, shipping, returns, and services. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with professionalism and accuracy.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service
· Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels regarding products, orders, pricing, billing, shipping, returns, exchanges, and company policies.
· Deliver friendly, professional, and solution-oriented customer service.
· Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly while ensuring a positive customer experience.
· Escalate complex issues appropriately and follow through to resolution.
Order Management
· Enter, process, and maintain customer orders accurately within internal systems.
· Monitor order status and communicate updates regarding shipments, backorders, delivery timelines, and product availability.
· Prepare returns, refunds, exchanges, replacements, and related documentation.
· Maintain accurate customer records and ensure order information remains current.
Sales Support
· Support assigned Sales Representatives with account maintenance, order management, and customer communications.
· Assist customers and buyers with purchase order planning based on inventory availability, lead times, and program requirements.
· Prepare sales materials, pricing sheets, product information, and customer presentations.
· Assist with line reviews, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed.
· Analyze customer and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Product Development, Marketing, Licensing, and Customer Service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
· Share customer feedback and recurring issues with management to improve products and service.
· Provide switchboard coverage and administrative support as needed.
General Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain knowledge of company products, programs, delivery schedules, drop-ship items, and order policies.
· Mail catalogs, samples, and marketing materials to customers and sales representatives upon request.
· Perform additional duties assigned by management.
· Work overtime, including occasional weekends, when business needs require.
QualificationsRequired
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 1–3 years of customer service, sales support, account management, or office administration experience.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Professional telephone etiquette and customer-focused mindset.
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer concerns effectively.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, reporting).
· Experience in retail, eCommerce, wholesale, distribution, or consumer products.
· Familiarity with licensed products or sports merchandise.
