We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Senior Service Associate to join our production team in Blacksburg, SC. The Senior Service Associate reports to the Department Manager and assists with directing and controlling department processes in accordance with established policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating production equipment while maintaining high standards for product quality, safety, housekeeping, and productivity.
Operate department equipment and perform each job according to established procedures.
Follow written and verbal instructions from department leaders.
Monitor and analyze process parameters to ensure equipment and production processes remain within specifications.
Ensure first-quality products are produced consistently.
Perform basic equipment maintenance, including lubricating, cleaning, tightening, and other routine tasks.
Complete scheduled equipment and area cleaning.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Safely transport fabric and materials between production areas using forklifts, tuggers, and other material-handling equipment.
Identify process or equipment issues and assist with troubleshooting and resolution.
Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, vendors, and customers.
Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
Follow all applicable safety, quality, and operating procedures.
Previous dyeing and/or finishing experience is required.
Working knowledge of PC hardware components, desktop operating systems, and common business applications.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be self-driven, dependable, and safety-conscious.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability and willingness to operate motorized material-handling equipment, including forklifts and tuggers.
Ability to work a rotating shift.
The ideal candidate is an experienced production professional who understands dyeing and finishing processes, takes pride in producing quality products, and can identify and resolve problems efficiently. This individual should be comfortable operating industrial equipment, following established procedures, maintaining a safe workplace, and working collaboratively with department leadership and team members.
