Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase product adoption within assigned territories through outside and inside sales channels.
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs, showcasing features and benefits effectively.
- Identify new business opportunities through lead generation activities such as cold calling, networking events, and market analysis.
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM software like Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and alignment with company policies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support territory management and business development efforts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to handle territory management and account oversight effectively.
- Strong business development skills with a focus on lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking customer interactions and sales pipeline management.
- Exceptional negotiation skills combined with excellent customer service abilities to foster long-term client relationships.
- Analysis skills to interpret market data, identify opportunities, and tailor product demos accordingly.
- Knowledge of retail sales environments or technical product solutions is a plus; experience in marketing or territory sales is highly valued.
