We’re looking for a Server who brings warmth, professionalism, and presence to every table. Someone who understands that true hospitality is about making others feel seen, welcomed, and cared for.
Position Overview
As a Server at Love, Pomelo, you’ll guide guests through their dining experience with knowledge, attentiveness, and grace. You’ll work closely with our bar, kitchen, and support team to create seamless, joyful service from the first pour to the final goodbye. This role requires strong communication, situational awareness, and a genuine desire to care for others.
Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service
- Provide warm, personalized hospitality that reflects Love, Pomelo’s core values
- Greet tables promptly and engage with guests throughout their visit
- Guide guests through the menu with confidence, sharing insights on dishes and wines
- Read the rhythm of each table and pace service accordingly
- Handle guest concerns with composure, empathy, and quick problem-solving
- Maintain clean, reset tables and polished mise en place at all times
Food & Wine Knowledge
- Speak confidently about the full menu, including ingredients, sourcing, and preparation
- Recommend thoughtful food and beverage pairings
- Understand and communicate highlights of the wine list, particularly Italian varietals and producers
- Be familiar with common allergens and dietary accommodations
Teamwork & Communication
- Work fluidly with hosts, runners, bussers, bar, and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth service
- Communicate clearly about timing, guest needs, and pacing with expo and FOH
- Support team members in maintaining a calm and focused dining room
Cleanliness & Organization
- Maintain a clean, organized station and assist with dining room upkeep
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols
- Participate in side work, setup, and breakdown with care and consistency

Pay: $22.75 - $35.00 per hour
