Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and craft beers, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, processing payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate the guest experience
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies; assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service during busy periods and special events like banquets or catering functions
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in fine dining or high-volume settings preferred; strong background in food service industry required
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling experience essential
- Knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipe development, wine knowledge, and spirits expertise required
- Experience working with beverage safety standards and food handling procedures necessary for maintaining health standards
- Familiarity with brewing processes or craft beer selection is a plus; banquet or catering experience is desirable
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a lively yet professional atmosphere
