Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Construction Foreman, you will coordinate teams, manage daily operations on-site, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with all safety and construction regulations. Your leadership will drive project success while fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage construction crews, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project timelines.
- Monitor project budgets, track progress, and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project milestones.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Review construction contracts, manage change orders, and ensure contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle
- Utilize construction scheduling tools like Primavera P6 for detailed planning
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in commercial construction projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management
- Strong crew management skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight and coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Ability to interpret technical data using tools like ohmmeters for electrical components when necessary.
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, change orders, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Valid certifications in construction management or related fields are preferred.
