Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our opening hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms,common areas, and laundry ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and service excellence within the hotel industry.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to ensure cleanliness throughout the property.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Maintain an organized cart with cleaning supplies and equipment for efficiency during shifts.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Skills
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of custodial practices, including floor care methods.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
