We are looking for an Accounting Bookkeeping Analyst to join our talented team at AM Advisors. AM Advisors is a CFO and accounting practice based in Oakland, CA, changing the world of business accounting for small companies. We have a growing list of 40+ clients with an emphasis on architecture and engineering firms.
To succeed in this role, you must have a basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting processes. Responsibilities:
Support Senior Analysts with multiple clients’ outstanding items
Hands-on accounting including invoicing, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable processing, bank reconciliations, journal entries, financial report preparation and problem resolution of accounting issues
Prepare financial statements or other financial reports
Execute month-end bookkeeping functions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
1-2 years of bookkeeping experience
Providing references required
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills
Basic understanding of QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and MS Office
Excellent communication and organizational skills
