Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $19.24/hour
- Excellent benefits package: Medical, Dental, and Vision
- 1st shift schedule: 7 am to 3:30 pm
- Located in Grand Prairie, Texas
Duties and Responsibilities
- Using our and our client’s software to manage the incoming and outgoing orders and transfers
- Assign the daily workload for the DC employees according to the existing service and quality standards
- Complete all associated shipping and customs documents for truckload & courier shipments, ensuring timely shipping
- Operate within a high-paced environment and professional atmosphere, which requires constant adjustment of priorities and workloads
- May be responsible for providing instructions to drivers
- Once cross-trained, provide support for other WPC’s in their absence
- Work in collaboration with others within the organization to ensure customer needs are met
- Develop, build, and maintain relationships with clients making sure to communicate regularly
- Assist in customer complaint investigations and processes
Requirements and Qualifications
- High School Education/GED and/or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment, prior experience within inventory, wave planning, or customer service helpful
- Skills in planning, organizing, and juggling multiple priorities are required
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions. Attention to detail is helpful
- Ability to communicate effectively and with professionalism (both verbal and in writing)
- Ability to operate office machinery including the use of computer systems
- Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division, and multiplication
