Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Property Maintenance & House Check Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day operations of luxury vacation rental homes in the Siesta Key/Sarasota area.
This role combines basic maintenance work, property inspections, inventory management, and hospitality support to ensure all homes are guest-ready and maintained to a high standard.
The ideal candidate is dependable, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced vacation rental environment.
Schedule
- Full-time
- 5 days per week
- Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Some evenings or later hours may occasionally be required based on guest needs or emergencies
Compensation
- Starting salary: $55,000 annually
- Opportunity for pay increase after 90 days based on performance
Responsibilities
- Perform house checks after cleaners to ensure homes are guest-ready
- Complete inventory and restocking checks
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues
- Handle basic handyman tasks and repairs
- Report damages, maintenance concerns, and supply needs
- Coordinate access for vendors and service providers
- Assist with guest-related issues when needed
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards across properties
Requirements
- Previous handyman or maintenance experience required
- Hospitality or property management experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Must provide basic tools
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be dependable, organized, and responsive
- Comfortable using text messaging, apps, and taking/reporting photos
