Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Foreman/Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, coordinate distribution processes, and manage a team of warehouse staff. Your leadership will ensure smooth inventory management, efficient shipping and receiving, and continuous process improvements to meet our high standards of service.
Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and materials handling.
- Operate cranes and forklifts to move and position heavy materials.
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve productivity goals while maintaining safety standards.
- Climb up and down on railcars.
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexible work hours
- Lift/carry items up to 60 pounds.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a fast-paced environment.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience operating forklifts, cranes, and understanding materials handling equipment.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, train, and develop staff effectively.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehousing operations and heavy lifting safety protocols.
- Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
