American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with night shifts and every-other-weekend availability.

Inpatient Med/Surg Telemetry unit, with a primarily medical/surgical patient population
-
Patient population includes observation, respiratory, general med/surg, palliative/end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic, and surgical patients

13-week contract
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed

Floating across all system facilities required if needed

Epic EMR — experience is mandatory

Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility

Previous Charge RN experience is preferred
