Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in commercial settings. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage and gas systems.
- Cut, thread, groove and assemble pipe and fittings using hand or power tools.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on existing systems.
- Work with project managers and supervisors to ensure timely project completion.
- Adhere to job site safety protocols and local plumbing codes.
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in commercial plumbing field
- Clean and valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in working with copper, cast iron, galvanized and black iron pipe.
- Experience with domestic water, sanitary, storm and gas systems.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
